Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about how plinq works. For legal details, see Privacy and User Agreement. Privacy · User Agreement

What is plinq?
plinq is a link-in-bio and short-link service. You get a public page (for example yours.com/your-handle) to list your links, plus optional short URLs that redirect to any destination you choose.
How does my public bio page work?
After you sign up, you choose a handle. Visitors open your page at that URL, see your title, optional profile photo, and up to five links you add in the dashboard (YouTube video URLs can show an embedded player). You can reorder links and pick a theme.
What are short links?
Short links are compact URLs (for example /s/your-code) that send people to a full URL you configure. They are useful for sharing in bios, chats, or print. Click counts may be shown in your dashboard depending on your plan.
Is plinq free?
Many deployments offer a free tier with core features; paid plans may add higher limits or extras. Check the Plan tab in your dashboard or your operator’s pricing page for what applies to you.
Can I use my own domain?
Custom domains depend on how plinq is deployed and configured. If your operator supports it, they will document the setup. The default URLs use the site’s own hostname.
Do you track page or link views?
Basic usage metrics such as page views and link clicks may be stored to show statistics in your dashboard. See the Privacy Policy for how data is processed and how long it may be kept.
How do cookies and privacy work?
We use cookies and similar storage for essential features like sign-in and preferences. You can manage optional cookies from the cookie banner. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Account deletion (if offered) is usually available from your dashboard or by contacting the operator of this deployment. After deletion, your public page and links may stop working according to their retention policy.
